Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Policy Applies to All Tutoring Appointments

This Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy applies to single tutoring sessions, tutoring sessions purchased through an 8-session or 12-session package, and any other paid tutoring appointment offered by Math Minds Tutoring.

Cancellations or Rescheduling With at Least 24 Hours' Notice

A tutoring session may be canceled or rescheduled by providing at least 24 hours' notice before the scheduled start time.

For a single tutoring session, the customer may choose to:

• Reschedule the session at no additional cost, or
• Receive a full refund for the canceled session.

For a tutoring-package session:

• The session may be rescheduled at no additional cost, or
• The tutoring session will remain available for future scheduling.
• The package expiration date will not automatically be extended.

Cancellations With Less Than 24 Hours' Notice

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may result in the loss of the scheduled session.

• A single tutoring session may be non-refundable.
• A tutoring-package customer may lose one session from the package.
• A replacement appointment is not guaranteed.

Missed Appointments

A missed appointment, also called a no-show, occurs when the student does not attend the scheduled tutoring session and has not canceled or rescheduled it in advance.

• A missed single session may be non-refundable.
• A missed package appointment may result in the loss of one tutoring session.
• The tutor is not required to remain available beyond the scheduled session time.

Late Arrivals

Tutoring sessions begin and end at the originally scheduled times. Arriving late does not extend the appointment. Students who arrive late may use the remaining scheduled time, but the session will still end at the original end time.

How to Cancel or Reschedule

Customers should use the cancellation or rescheduling method provided in the booking confirmation or contact Math Minds Tutoring at support@mathmindstutoring.com as soon as possible. The date and time the request is received will determine whether the 24-hour notice requirement has been met.

Emergency Situations

Math Minds Tutoring recognizes that emergencies and unexpected circumstances may occur. Requests for exceptions may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of Math Minds Tutoring. An exception in one situation does not guarantee an exception in the future.

If Math Minds Tutoring Cancels

If Math Minds Tutoring must cancel a session, the customer may reschedule at no additional cost. For a single session, the customer may instead request a full refund. For a package session, the session will remain available for future scheduling.

Package Expiration

Properly canceled or rescheduled sessions remain subject to the package expiration date. Canceling or rescheduling an appointment does not automatically extend the package expiration period.

Applicable Law

This policy is intended to comply with applicable laws. Except where otherwise required by applicable law, this policy governs cancellations and rescheduling for tutoring appointments booked with Math Minds Tutoring.

Agreement

By booking a tutoring session or purchasing a tutoring package, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to this Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy.
